Stem Wire

Auto-Tie Stem Wire

Auto-Tie Stem Wire, also called Carrier Wire, Stand Wire or Stump Wire is the wire of choice for high volume MRF’s (Material Recovery Facilities) who are baling material on a consistent basis. Our high quality stems are consistent in gauge, possess high tensile strength, and are packaged for safe transit and ease of use. At Parade Baling Wire we offer two types of auto tie stem wire: Galvanized high tensile and black annealed wire.

Choosing between galvanized high tensile and black annealed wire may depend on the specific requirements of the baling operation and the characteristics of the materials being processed. Both options aim to provide a reliable and efficient solution for MRFs dealing with high volumes of recyclable materials.

Galvanized Hi Tensile Stem Wire

Primarily used in high speed two ram balers with an automatic tier system.

  • Continuous coils weighing 1,800-2,000 pounds on steel carriers
  • Galvanized coating provides a layer of protection against corrosion and rust which will extend the lifespan of the wire
  • High Tensile Strength ranging between 145,000-175,000 PSI making it an ideal solution for handling significant force or stress

Black Annealed Stem Wire

Primarily used in automatic single ram horizontal balers
  • Continuous coils weighing 1,800-2,000 pounds on steel carriers
  • Oiled coating protects the wire from rust and also allows for smooth sliding thru the baler which eliminates unwanted jams and machine downtime
  • Black Annealed Finish which is done by heating the wire to a high temperature and then slowly cooling it to achieve peak durability and softness making it a great option for tying solutions.
